Health Services at Prairie View Middle School

The Prairie View Middle School Health Office is staffed by Marta Hertle, Health Services Assistant and Heather Martin, Licensed School Nurse. Together they help provide a safe environment for students and staff.

The Health Services Assistant is in the Health Office daily from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. She is certified in First Aid and CPR/AED.  She provides first aid, emergency care and illness interventions, and administers medication according to school district policy.  The Health Services Assistant provides this care under the supervision of a Licensed School Nurse.

The Licensed School Nurse is on duty as the coordinator and supervisor of several Health Service offices throughout the district.  The Licensed School Nurse schedules site visits and maintains contact with the Health Assistant regarding student's needs in each school.   Both the Health Assistant and Licensed School Nurse are available to address any questions or concerns related to your child.
